Thank you all for shouting out ur
soberiety birthday with us.

When i read Coffeenuts reply
i said to myself, now that's how
i feel inside about my own
sobriety date.

Every now and then ill think
about it just to remind myself
of that important date in my
recovery life.

Then ill say it to myself and
get this fuzzy tingly excited
feeling inside.

Its hard to explain, but for
each of you i pray that u too
will achieve that feeling with
each sobriety date that comes
ur way.

It's a gratiful, accomplished
feeling that belongs to each
of you that you so rightfully
earned.

If ur just beginning ur journey
dont lose hope. Each day added
together will get u right back
to ur sobriety day as each yr
approaches. :)

May 1, 2008. May Day! May Day! Easy to remember

A lot of old heads here Wow. I guess I am in between 07/23/08. I don't think I could have done it without SR. AA was not an option for me but I am very thankful to all those here at SR. Advice to the newbies -post often there is a wealth of knowledge and ears here. Everyone has been where you are and they will listen to you and tell you what they did.
