Day 3: Sober but sick:(

Here is day 3 of sobriety....Feeling better but really strange for some reason...Praying I will feel better tomorrow!

Hey, lilbinks. Please be safe while detoxing. Please detox under a doctors care,and get yourself to emergency services pronto if things get bad.

Hi Lilbinks,

Me too! Day three, that is. Feeling physically better (actually ate and slept) but still very jumpy and with some palpitations.

Having searched half-heartedly for various ways for 'me' to control my drinking since visiting AA some years ago, I now see that 'I' never will. That realisation took me to a meeting yesterday and again today. There is hope.

How did your meetings go?

Hang in there, it definitely gets better but please (as suggested) get some medical advise if needed.

Are you doing anything else to replace the drinking? I got back into doing some hand crafts. It helps me relax and takes my mind of things.
