11 months!
Today marks 11 months since I quit drinking. Looking back, I can't believe that I'm the same person that used to drink 12-18 beers every day, with even more than that every weekend. I guess I'm really NOT that person anymore
My life is so much better today than it's ever been. Those huge problems I used to drink away, don't seem so big when looked at through sober eyes. I don't have any more cravings and the thought of having one beer, let alone several in one sitting, rarely even crosses my mind.
For those of you still struggling, don't ever give up! After nearly 30 years of drinking, I thought I was too old and set in my ways to change.
I'm living proof that even old dogs can learn new tricks.
