Over 100 Days Sober!!!
Over 100 Days Sober!!!
Hi All,
I just checked the sober time clock thingy and realized that I'm 109 days sober! For me, that truly is a miracle indeed.
Four months ago, I found myself looking at life void of hope and I could not (or would not) consider life without alcohol. After taking things 'one day at a time', I'm now 3+ months sober and I wouldn't give up my new life for anything.
To those of you that are "thinking" about quitting or have relapsed or maybe you just feel overwhelmed, please trust me when I tell you that there is SO MUCH Hope out there and we can not only live, but live joyfully, without alcohol.
Thanks to everyone on here for your amazing support and please forgive me for not being active in posting as of late. I will try to do a better job of giving back to the community as you all have given me so much love and support in my journey.

Congratulations!
I love reading these threads where someone has hit a milestone. It helps me to remember that "one day at a time" eventually adds up to a lifetime.
Thank you for the inspiration & motivation.

Racer - that's fabulous! I once felt the same as you - couldn't imagine a life without alcohol. Now I'd never go back to feeling numb and foggy. You're doing great - we're proud of you!
Thanks once again to all of you for your wonderful words of support and my apologies once again for being out of touch for so long. This community has given me so much and I hope that I can give back in the days, months and years ahead.
God Bless!

P.S. Didn't it feel great to wake up sober this morning?

RacerX! Congrats!! That's HUGE! And yes, I just want to say - it was GREAT to wake up sober this morning!! Thanks (yet again) for making me aware of this little factoid, way back when. Waking up sober = my higher power.
CONGRATS!

Racer my old pal!!! Congrats on your sober time and words of encouragement. I fell off the wagon in April but dusted off ASAP and am back. Coming up to a month.
Sobriety is so possible and we can live happily without alcohol. I learned from my flub and right back at it.
God Bless my friend and so glad to see keeping us posted on your journey.
Keep it going

Hi Racer:
I see we are still neck and neck on our days of clean time. Congrat's to you on staying clean. I know your family, as well as mine, are so lucky to have us off the sh*t. Spring is here and it's so much more enjoyable.
Take Care my friend.
