Today is 1 year since I 'joined' SR. I had been viewing SR for probably a year prior off and on. Mostly whils't drinking and drugging. But I was not 'ready'.

This is a post just to express my gratitute for SR, and the wonderful people who post here and have supported me during my tough times. It is safe to say that without SR then I would not be approaching 10 months sober next Saturday.

I have enjoyed sharing my journey with SR. All of the wonderfully supportive and encouraging replies have really made it a fantastic journey. I have learned so much from reading and posting on SR over the past year. I have truly gained a new education. This new education is the most important education that I have ever learned. It has enabled me to be able to live a life free from alcohol and drugs and to be truly grateful for that.

Thanks again SR and to everyone who posts here. I learn something new every time I read here.
