i am off to another night, 5:00 is fast approaching and my mouth is watering for a drink...i plan to go home a different route so i do not go by my regular store to buy my 4 pack of wine to get me home. my husband is out of town, worried about the time alone tonight, although he is not much support since he is a heavy drinker. may be the alone time will give me time to relax and enjoy the sobriety.

closing my eyes and visualizing myself as a sober healthy woman ready to take on the world...deep breath.

Hi new.. welcome, glad you're here.. you'll find tons of support here.

I know I wouldn't have been able to stay sober, living with an addict or alcoholic.. I can't imagine how hard it is for you.

Stay strong, and enjoy the alone time for yourself, maybe do something special for you.

UPDATE: Well, i stopped and bought the four pack. rode home with in my car, opened one, took one sip, and then threw it out...i know i can do this. i am going to go sit with my chickens for a while and meditate on life...thanks so much ya'll, really if it wasn't for the strength i am receiving here, well just thank you....
