hey guys long time no talk
hi everyone, i have been so busy that i have done a terrible job at staying on this website. i hope everyone is doing well, im doing ok.
STILL SOBER! it has been almost 5 months now, which is close to half a year, and im totally excited about that. things have changed for me dramatically, my fiancee left me, ive moved up in my job, and i am getting my own place now. good things, and terrible things. im proud of myself for not giving in to drinking even through the worst possible outcomes for my life have happened. i had the thoughts of, 'oh screw it she left me anyway', and all that. but i didnt give up. im still on the rollercoaster ride of emotions, but i think ill be ok. i encourage everyone to see 500 days of summer. its my movie now

Glad to hear that a fellow October 2009 member is still around. I post on that every once in awhile but not much posting going on there. Congratulations on your almost 5 months. I am sure that you have discovered that life can be better sober..Proud that you didn't drink even when things were down...you've discovered that it wouldn't have made things better only worse.

It is so inspiring to read that you went through all these things in such a short period of time, and yet, stayed sober. Good for you!!!! And I'm sorry for the bad things that happened, but so glad for the good. Keep going, my friend, and don't look back.
