TOPIC: Alcohol IS NOT Going To Kill ME/YOU
 

Hi Im Sharon and I am an Alcoholic.

By the grace of my HP and people
like you here in SR I havent found
it necessary to pick up a drink of
"POISON" since 8-11-90.

For that and you I am truely grateful.

Just For TODAY I WILL NOT let
alcohol/drugs KILL ME. How about YOU?

Im focused on just today. This minute.
This moment to not let the thoughts,
temptations of drinking/using to get
the best of me.

I know for myself that alcohol/drugs
are cunning baffling and extremely
powerful.

Without help from the program of AA/NA
and a Power greater than I who is my
Higher Power/HP i would surely be 10
ft under the ground. If not that then
shuffling across the floor in a phyco ward
with no hope.

Today I do have hope. I have the
burning desire to not drink and use
the tools and knowledge of my disease
to guide me and keep me from making
a huge permanant mistake.

No, I dont think today I will let alcohol
kill me.

SR is an awesome lifeline of fellowship
and support to help me stay stong
and sober another 24 hours.
