DUI checkpoint.

Had to drive threw a DUI checkpoint tonight on my way home from the grocery store.
Sure felt good knowing that I was sober, and had no feeling of dread. In the past when I drove drunk countless times, I would know where they were and would avoid them.
Said a little prayer that everyone makes it home safely tonight.

Excellent post! I used to fear them and avoid them because I was in posession of herbage. It is indeed a great feeling to pass through with your head held high and no fear of "uh-oh, I wonder if this is the time my time will be up". Good job and thanks for the prayers as well. Peace and hugs.

Ah yes tallcactus!!! Even during the holidays I was the "Driver Designato!" and with all the cops out there it was good to know that should I even be randomly pulled over........NO WORRIES!!!! Doesn't that feel good?

Same with me. I even went through a couple, high as a kite, and made it through ok. My heart felt like it was going to rip through my chest!! Almost enough to turn this agnostic into a believer!! Now I still wouldn't let the cops search my car out of basic principles, but it's not because I think they'll find anything!! Take care.
