8 days sober!
 

Cor Blimey! I never thought I'd ever be sober for this long! Even though it's only been a short time people are already saying my character has changed for the better.
The best thing is that I like being sober,I think it suits me. lol

I remember saying the same thing. I think I went for 11 days one time ten years ago. Things would have been much better if I had stayed "stopped," but I couldn't back then.

People like us don't listen to ourselves loud enough or soon enough :)

I am on Sober Day 11 and i am smiling more....I like myself better when I don't drink too...my vocabulary improves along with my mood.

Yay, well done you! I am on day 20 ( I think!) And itd beginning to feel good, I am coping better without alcohol and its the weekend when I would normally be having a glass of wine or 10 and I am not and doesnt that feel great!!?? I suddenly feel like I am stronger than the alcohol... Keep going!!
