Quick Intro

Hi to all,
I would just like to thanks everyone for the unknowing support that I have drawn from this group while I have been lurking in the background, gaining strength to actually join.
I will give a more detailed account of my "journey" when I have more time.
Quick version below.
I "started", stopping Feb 10th, 2010 at 10 am, when I had my last unfinished beer. Two days later, I had two glasses of wine Feb 13. I only had that to prove that the reason I was shaking so bad was because I was detoxing, and not the fake excuse, it was because "I really hadn't eaten anything substantial in days, and it was the lack of food shakes"
Well I guess you all know the answer, the wine stopped the shakes.
That was the being of the end for me.
So, not counting the almost three days prior to that, I have been sober 6 days. (for me, I address my addiction, by the hour, not just days)
Sleep is a problem, still sweat nights, but nothing like in the beginning, when the sheets were soaked and so was I. Gone are the "bugs" that crawled over my legs and arms, that caused me to scratch without relief.
I am eating like the starved man that I actually am, taking vits etc.
I can actually think, and write my name clearly.
I know this was the more dangerous route to take, but at the time, I just didn't have the courage to leave my cave.
once again THANK YOU.
I welcome any feed, or advise on my "NewDirections" and will continue telling of my journey as time permits.
