Thanks to this forum and the posts, and quotes from "under the Influence" that I read..... I had my FINAL drink Sunday night. I went out and bought "under tha Influence" yesterday. Confessed to my wife that I had been "hiding" my problem from her. She thought I was havin a couple beers in the evening.... but it had progressed to 10 - 12 a night.. everynight, except the weekends (when I woould have 15 or so).... Anyway... It's nice to have this "community" here for support. And just reading other's experiences has been extremely healpful. So again I say... THANK YOU!

Welcome to SR! And congrats on choosing sobriety. It takes some effort and some changes to stay sober but it's so worth it.
