ladyangelcake has one year sober today

hello to everyone on SR, i would just like to share with anyone who is interested! that today is the aniversary of my one year sober! wow i cannot believe it, when i first came to SR a year ago i was rock bottom, i was mentally and physically shot to pieces and really did not think i could manage a weeks sobriety let alone a year, but all of your kind words and advice spurred me on and made me strong, without SR and AA i truly do not think i could have done this. believe me i had tried to do it alone SO many times before. so thanks again everyone, lets keep supporting each other, and to anyone new to SR or recovery please believe me when i say that there really is a life without alcohol! just give it a chance one day at a time xx

hey lady,,,congratulations,i got my year on sunday,with the help of AA and sr too.
it is an awesome feeling eh?
i wrote my story if you fancy a read,its in the 12 step forum,i and many others including yourself truly are miracles!

A year!!! Awesome! I did my recovery backwards from you but with the same results, I first did AA after detox and then came here.

Congrats on your year!

Congratulations!

Major accomplishment. Hurray for all of us with February birthdays/anniversaries. Mine was last Friday...so I'm glad we're all in this together. Congratulations on your year again. It's amazing.
