Day 17 - Wishing Everyone Well!
Day 17 - Wishing Everyone Well!
Hi All,
Not much to say except that it feels GREAT once again to wake up sober. I had a breakfast with my 3 year old daughter at her pre-school. What a great experience to go with her and not be hungover or have "the breath". She held my hand the entire time and kept taking me up to random people and saying, "This is my daddy."
What can I say? Priceless.

I was just thinking about you and wondering how you were doing today.
That's so great that you went and had breakfast with your daughter. I wish I had stopped drinking years ago so I could have that time back that I missed out with my daughter.
Enjoy every moment because they grow up so fast!

Congratulations Racer. There are just so many precious moments with our children. Yesterday my boy had a snow day and we built to snow forts, 2 snow men, watched a video and popped popcorn, and had a picnic in a fort under his loft bed. Good times. I would NEVER have wanted to do that back in my drinking days. I had no energy whatsoever. It keeps the momentum going.
Your post brought a smile to my face. Love daughters bringing their daddys to school.
