Day 16 - Anxiety Has Passed

Hi All,

Thanks so much for your comments yesterday supporting me in regards to my anxiety and, of course, my 15 days!

I'm on Day 16 and my anxiety is way down - thanks in a big part to your posts! Cravings have definitely gone way down over the past few days, and I'm thankful for that.

I fully expect that waves will come and go, but I know that I've got the tools to deal with them as long as I keep to the program.

Thanks again to everyone and have a blessed, sober day!

I'm glad you are feeling a bit better today. Cravings do come and go, but remember to just take it one day, hour, minute at a time. I promise it does get better.

Thanks so much for the reminder. I had an old-timer at my home AA group give me a '10 Minute' chip. I've used it more than once over the past couple of weeks!

Don't be alarmed if the anxiety returns. It always, always goes away in a day or 2.

I have anxiety issues that trouble me from time to time BUT the most effective treatment I found is not medication but exercise. Look at it this way... it will never fill you up and never let you down (why does that sound familiar??)
