woke up with day 2 under my belt now day 3

Day 2 was not too teribly bad for me yesterday(I rember my detox exp. in dec it was the worst!). Lets see how day three goes. Yesterday, I just had to keep myself busy and just drove around all day(something i havent been able to do in a while). The only side effect that Im really getting is the really bad hand tremors. I have always gotten these in the mornings when I did not drink. I hope they will eventually go away. Thanks and good Luck everyone! Jonathon

You are doing well. Don't give up now. The tremors will go away and then it only gets better. You know that, so keep going.
I assume you also know that if it gets really bad to seek medical advise? :)

Yes it is good advice to get medical help if you are experiencing withdrawal symptoms. You should at least have someone watching you who can call an ambulance or take you to a hospital if you become unwell.

Driving is not a good idea while you are going through this. You could have a seizure. Please take care of yourself and others and be safe on the roads.

You can drive plenty when you are through withdrawal and enjoy it without a hangover.
Well done on quitting.

Thanks for the response

Hey, Yes I have been in comunication with my doc since yesterday. I had to go to a prof. detox in Dec(which is why I think it is going smother this time, hopefully not a next). My doc's biggest concern was my blood pressure and told me to keep the vitals closley moniterd. My bp in detox before both #'s were over 100. I have always had these trembling hands since starting daily drinking. I hope it goes away. The only other thing is my Doc always thought these lumps in my mouth(That was when I was lying to here about my drinking) were cyst. Now she thinks it is a vitaman disorder, and she pulled blood yesterday. Could be considering some days when drinking I wouldnt eat at all, just beer and more beer and marlboro's. Probally is what it is considering I am a 6'1 male that weighs 160. Thanks again

Sounds like you and your doc have the detox situation under control.
Congrats on 3 days. They are the tough ones.

That's good news that you have been to the doctor and she is now monitoring you.
Well done. One day at a time.
