accountability log

just checking in... i need to be accountable to stick with this, so here i am, and as of this past friday, i have three weeks. i've been rather cranky lately (last week or so), but i know that will get better... right? :)
this is the longest i've gone without drinking in over two years!! i've lost a bit of weight, look forward to losing a little more, and my face is not puffy and discolored. i had some cravings over the weekend, but i used s.m.a.r.t., and read the postings here... so again, sr community, thank you for being there!!
i have to run... i have class tonight; finally buckled down and am working on a master's degree. my mind is a bit foggy still, though :( oh well... at least i'm sober.

Congrats on three weeks! :ghug3 Yes, it does get better but it takes a while for the mind and body to adjust to functioning without alcohol. Just keep sober, one day at a time, and it will get better.

Three weeks is great. Well done.
There was a time when I never ever in a million years thought I could go 'one' week/weekend without drink. Isn't it wonderful when we find out 'we can'?
