Quit Lortab

I just realized that I was addicted to Lortab. I thought I could stop taking them anytime I wanted to, but I can't. I want to do this cold turkey if I can. I do take Xanax to help with general anxiety anyways and I'm wondering if that could be a tool to help me beat this drug. Any answers or support with this is very, very welcome. I guess the first step is admitting you have a problem which is very hard when you are a working professional in the medical field with a husband and 2 kids.

Just wanted to say Hi and welcome.

Sorry but I don't know what the drug is that you mention.....perhaps someone else will stop by who does.

Do you have any plan for helping you to give up this time. Are you planning on going to any meetings?

Hi Lomnick93

As you're a working professional in the medical field, I'm sure I don't need to tell you the first step should be to see a Dr.

Our health and well being should always be our first priority.

We can't give medical advice here and your Dr would be the best to ask about xanax or any other treatments.

There are a lot of people addicted to benzos on this board, so I urge you to be careful and get the best advice possible.

We have a substance abuse forum here as well. Come down and check it out too if you like

Hello and welcome.

I quit opiates 3 weeks ago, and I am also a mother. It is scary but it is so worth it.
