Sober Friday
 

It's nearly 9pm on Friday and I am sober.

It's been a great day, I went to a really lovely meeting. I have been doing a lot of Step 11 work and it has been very beneficial.

Yesterday was my son's 7th birthday. I tucked him up in bed, hugged and kissed him. He was really sleepy and he just smiled at me.

And this morning, I remember putting him to bed and that smile. Priceless.

Perfect! I'm looking forward to a BBQ with lots of sober people tonight. Interesting that BBQ's used to be all about drinking!

Im about to tuck into sober pie and chips on sober Friday.And going to sober football tomorrow on sober saturday.
