Welcome back, Gwen Do give AA a try this time. Just put one foot in front of the other until you're through that door. I've never regretted walking through the door of any AA meeting, no matter how sick with nerves or anxiety I've been beforehand. Whatever happens at the meeting, I guarantee it'll be a lot better than the hell we put ourselves through when we drink.

Thank you. I would have loved to go to a meeting with you but we are in separate continents...geographically but not as far as experience and recovery goes. I promise I will report back when I have been to my first meeting. It won't be tomorrow because I have to work till late. It will be soon. X

Give it a try: the coffee is cheaper than Starbucks', the refills are free and if you luck out there might be some cake. Best of all, you won't have to deal with a teenage barista with an attitude. And even better, if you cannot afford a dollar, coffee is on the house.
