TOPIC: Making An Agreement
 

Hi Im Sharon and Im an Alcoholic.

By the grace of my HP and people
like you here in SR I havent found
it necessary to pick up a drink of
alcohol since 8-11-90.

For that and you I am truely grateful.


Some many one days at a time
sober collected together 19 yrs
ago, I made an agreement with
the Man upstairs that I wouldnt
pick up a drink of alcohol one
day at a time following the 12
steps provided to us thru Alcoholics
Anonymous.

So far I have kept to that agreement
by placing my faith in Him and turning
my will over to Him on a daily bases.

As a result I am a happier joyful freer
person living and enjoying life without
alcohol today.

That's alot to be grateful for.

How about you?

Haven't come across one of your posts in awhile Sharon, happy holidays=)

I'm in the process of strengthening that agreement with the man upstairs.

Have gone back to work at the bakery
I was let go of last Dec. then got married
in Feb., had hip replacement in June,
and got my motorcycle endorsement
several months ago.

Whew....all these gifts just by living
12 steps one day at a time in my
everyday life.
