Class of December 09
Congrats to everyone! I've got 95 days today. Woohoo! Just got the tickets for the phish shows i'm seeing on vacation this summer. Cannot freaking wait! The possibilities in life are limitless so long as i stay clean. YaY!

Going thru a bit of 'rough roads' but still no desire to drink over it. Still happy to wake up sober and not sick. Still happy to know in my heart that drinking is not an option any more and that it will only make things worse.
(((hugs))) to all my December classmates!

Good to see you hangin in there least!
I find that my 'hard' times are getting easier to handle & they also have a shorter duration. thats not to take away from the difficulty of dealing with these moments.
I had one the other day, brain went through the process of planning exactly how and wen i was gonna drink & and started planning my new life back as a drinker...flirted with the idea and then i snapped back into my newly trained mind of cutting those thoughts of with judgement and i was sweet again.
DJ;d a 30th Bday party on the weekend, everyone there was geeting pretty toasted. I had a great time sober! nobody even noticed i wasnt drinking, so didnt have to have 'THAT' conversation
keep on keeping on guys

I'll have four months this Thursday and am delighted, as that's getting close to my previous 'record' of six months sober. This time I shall reach and surpass that record and keep on truckin'.

110 days and feeling good. i think the fog lifts a little more each day, i find myself noticing things and making (mental) connections that i wouldn't have a few weeks ago. very nice!
attended my first full-on family function and had no urge to drink. (i had anticipated this as a big trigger as most everyone else was drinking) it's so interesting to me how the whole trigger thing works... odd things will set me off (like the weather?!?), but i can sit in a bar (waiting for a table the other day) and care less about drinking. finding it easier and easier to push cravings/thoughts aside quickly these days.
congrats to all on your progress, thanks for the inspiration. i'm so glad to be here!
