Yea..Thats gonna be awhile..LOL. I dont think I can ever see B town as anything else just yet. I am just taking the advice thats been given to me for so long and following it. I have done everything but. So I gotta get out of my way and just listen and follow directions. Going to be hard cause I am hard headed. But I dont want to eb dead or locked up. I dont want feel or be in that place I was last weekend. All I have to do is look out front at my jacked up van to remind me. That could have easily been me that got stabbed and not my tires. My dad has said that to me about 50 times since it happened. And hes right.
I cant keep doing that ****. My luck is running out.

((Trish)) - I'm hard-headed too, and you know how much we have in common, but once we surrender and do whatever it takes? Life gets a lot better...not always EASY, but better...much better.

Love, hugs and prayers!

I'm glad you went....and I'm glad you're back. I'm also very interested to read your journey into sobriety.

You remind me of my kid sister....I've lost her....I'm glad I"m not going to lose you. You can do this, you really can.

Welcome back... you sound so much more positive and self assured, I'm so happy for you. Sober living sounds like a good step. Hopefully, you'll have nice housemates... I can't tell you how much difference a stress-free home makes.

Take care of yourself,
TB

I ahve completely surrendered and it feels weird, but I feel relief at the same time.
Trish I know that feeling, the relief is I think in finally accepting that the fight is over and there is only one way to go from there..... forward!

What happens to those who surrender? Quite obviously they become WINNERS!!! If you surrender you surrender to the WINNING side.

Welcome home Trish, one day at a time is how we do this, just as we got sick one day at a time, we get well one day at a time
