New to the site
 

Hello everyone, I am new here and I am just trying to get some perspective as I am married to an alcoholic. I have read some of the posts and it seems that I am certainly not alone with my feelings. Recently I have done some things, that are so out of character for me, that I am not sure I know myself anymore. I know I have been and probably continue to be an enabler to my wife of 26 years but something has got to give and I fear lately that it is my sanity. Thanks for reading.

It might be an idea for you to consider AlAnon as a support for yourself. Also, we have a Friends and Families forum on this board which you will find helpful.
