HI,
So I am on day 5 after a failed attempt and having to toss out 5 months... On Saturday I'm going to Bali for 2 weeks and kind of scared that it is going to be hard to stay sober. I'm hoping it isn't since most of my triggers are with work situations but I'm also scared to have to much time on my hands and just think AGAIN one drink won't hurt you are on vacation... So I guess asking for tips is kind of strange but I am a bit scared about this..

I Googled "aa meetings in bali" and came up with this Alcoholics Anonymous - Bali, Indonesia. so it's a lifeline you might consider for support.

When traveling, I try not to put myself in situations that might trigger me. I stay out of bars, drink sodas or water when I'm by the pool or ocean, and I stay active, taking in the sights and sounds of a part of the world that's new to me.

I think that mind-set is important.

Don't allow yourself to think of drinking as an option and it will help.

Make a plan before you leave, as to what you will do when you feel yourself craving.
