Pardon me for bragging... I just have to :)

Throughout all my struggles with alcoholism and mental illness I have managed to raise wonderful children. They are all doing better than I ever could have hoped. My oldest is attending the School Of Mines which is an engineering school in Golden Colorado. My 2nd to the oldest is heading of for boot camp with the Marines in June. Next, my son Cameron is the most responsible person I know and my daughter who is a sophmore in high school just made the varsity basketball team.

They all get good grades and do not drink or do drugs. I am so absolutely proud I had to share "brag".

That's great Suzette and there is ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with a proud Mama!! Good for you and good for them! :)

Wow, what a great group of kids you have! What exciting lives they lead also.

You go girl! You are too cute in your avatar.

Good for you and brag away. I have 2 grown children who do well but I truly wish they would not drink so much. I did not start drinking until they were adults but their father has drank their whole life. I wish I never started but of course they are one of the reasons I quit. Hopefully I will be a good example for them. Keep up the good work.

You should be proud of your children, and good for each of them!

Suzette

I have a lot of "paper and professional" accomplishments. Other stuff, too. Looks great on a resume.

But, nothing comes even close to raising 3 wonderful, accomplished kids. The only hard and fast "rule" I had in raising them was "make the world just a little bit better place because you're here." That about covers it all, including doing the dishes.

I know pride is supposed to be a deadly sin. Ha! You deserve to be proud because of what you modeled. I've always felt that my kids are far more capable, resilient, and empathetic because I never hid my imperfections. I think that kids who grow up with the illusion that perfection is attainable are pursuing the impossible.

Give yourself credit and a pat on the back Suz, I'm sure that good parenting played a role in their success  Well done Mom!

Brag all you want and you just gotta be proud. A mother and her cubs...LOL.
I brag about my son all the time, constantly showing his pic's.
He looks as if he stepped right out of a magazine, so handsome.
He does not smoke, drink or drug.
He owns a home and has his own business as a Contractor, licensed and bonded and doing so well.
Keet sharing and so happy you are feeling well.

Alot to be proud and thankful for.
Congrats on raising some amazing kids.
Remember that when you start to feel down.
Kids dont raise themselves so you must be doing something right.
Big Hugs Suz
