Welcome!

I'm new to AA and go pretty much every day. They are really nice there and have coffee :)

welcome

I also had a desire to stop drinking and choose AA. it worked for me and I am sober 11 years. I found fellowship, sobriety, and a great way of living.
Life is truly amazing.
Im free!!

Hi Conor,

Welcome to SR!

I'm not an AA person, but it helps many people. You'll also find lots of support here.

Hello Connor,

welcome to the site, I would say that you could go to some meetings and listen at first and you will hear other people who are so very simular to you and have the same fears and concerns you wrestle with daily. For me AA was the place I needed to find, I found I fit in and by sharing I was able to help others feel the same way.
