Partying
Partying
..sober is fun. Sorry, it would let me type it out on the subject line.
I attended a party tonight, alone and had a great time. My husband was at a football game so I decided to go on my own even though I didn't want to go.
I was feeling like isolating and I pushed myself and got off my rear and went. And it was a lot of fun. Everything you guys said is true: hardly anyone sits there and drinks drink after drink after drink. They socialize, dance and have a great time just like I did, except I didn't drink.
I think I like this sobriety stuff.

It really is true, isn't it!
I remember thinking that when people went out to eat, they all drank 3,4, or 5 drinks....when I got sober I was shocked at the people who didn't drink alcohol at all with their meals.
Imagine that!

great thread & observation... now that you mention it - it is something that i've noticed too... how little my non-ex-drinking friends actually drink.
Now my ex-drinking friends... not gone there yet and it's been 10 months. maybe never eh?
