Outpatient rehab-Kjell

Hi all-

Some of you who were following my "another DUI another CARWRECK" thread asked that I keep you updated with my next steps.

Besides already contacting most in my family/friends, lawyer, insurance, sponsor, etc..

I just made an appointment to get a clinical evaluation and see if I'm a fit for outpatient or inpatient rehab. If I'm a fit out outpatient, I start on Monday right after my eval.

Below is my first thread (sorry, not sure how to do it).

Best of luck - I recently got a DUI, too. No fun at all.

Thanks 4 the update.
Take care of it all NOW.
This will all look good to the judge. Get 2 AA, get signatures.
Be remorseful when yr court date arrives.
Posivite thoughts yr way, U can do this.
Do not drink over this, that is not the answer, even tough the cravings will tell U 2 have a drink.
Stay strong.

Thank you everyone.

I will not drink over this. This is certainly a learning experience, a very painful one, but one none-the-less.

I realize now how powerful this is and I will do whatever it takes to beat it.

Thanks,
Kjell

Keep taking steps forward, as long as you don't drink and keep working on you it will work out!
