Why did I stop coming here?

Probably because it was making me ponder things about myself that I didn't want to accept. Last post was in april...my life has seriously sucked since then! lol

Glad to see support is still here.

Acceptance is a good place to start again.
Welcome back to SR.

Welcome Back

I've done the same thing, didn't want to come here and start talking about things, it felt dishonest. I've gotten very good advice in the past, for whatever reason, I ignored it.

Keep coming back, you'll find a lot of support here.

I think it was mostly shame that kept me from coming back here. I had a sober date for about six days back in Feb I think, and I thought I was right on track. Well, I got stressed, and I relasped hard. I didnt want to face the fact that I had to reset my counter again. I just love reading posts of people with months sober and explaining how it's brightened their lives...I want that!

You can have that if you want it.

Welcome Back!!!!

I've done the same thing many times over the years. (not really recommending that approach!!) I've always been welcomed back with open arms, as you are. Some advice, from my experience...even if you relapse, stick around. The support will still be there and maybe you can make it a shorter, less dramatic relapse. Of course the best thing is not to relapse at all, but if it does happen, let us help. Take care!!
