I'll echo what others have said - once I accepted that, for me, drinking was not a viable option, under any circumstances...things got better.
I stopped fighting and wheeling dealing bargaining... and simply accepted - finally - I cannot drink.
Not even one - cos it's the first one that starts the process.
It meant a lot of changes and some of them were painful to make - but my life is so much better now.
Its worth the work
