Hello, new here.
 

First time ever really seeking help or support for my addiction..it's been a problem nobody but myself has really known i've had. Even I didn't realize it was a problem until recently. My problem is with any drug i can get my hands on. LSD, Mushrooms, heroin, pot, opiates, etc. Just about anything u can name. I started doing drugs at 17 as an intellectual experimenting to open my mind up and expand it..for more of a spiritual experience. Then it became a habit just to have fun. Now...it's just an addiction. My problem is I have no sober friends left in my social circle (all those relationships were ruined after i started doing drugs) and I dont really know how to go about getting sober friends. All of my friends do drugs so lately i have been a loner. It's really hard to stay sober when you have no sober friends or social activities to do other than get high with friends. Advice is welcomed as are greetings :P

It is hard to get sober when your social circle are people like you caught in addiction...

it may be possible to get straight, and stay that way, without making major changes to your life but it certainly wasn't possible for me.

I had to move away from a lot of people.
I found a lot of new friends though :)

The best advice I can give you is read around here, post as often as like...there's a lot of experience support and hope here :)
