hi Chzan
I think you should definitely call your dr and tell him whats up....it's best to do that, get competent medical advice, and then you work with them and stop worrying
Good to see you here - welcome

Welcome to SR, chzan. Glad you are here. Please know that we are not doctors and cannot give medical advice. It would be best for you to contact your doctor and let him know what is going on. I don't have any experience with xanax, but a doctor would know best how to stop taking them. Good luck to you.
It's time to change!

Hey, CHZan (don't know where to capitalize), me, from the chat.
Ditto on the doctor part, and like I said, tell him upfront you're not there for a script, just advice...
Others will be along that have more experience with what you're likely to go through--although, again, not on the medical side. We can only help on the support and what we went through for a guide--but everybody's different.
Stay in there, and don't do this again... you know that though.
Take care,
-TB
ps and oh yeah welcome
