Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy?
Hey all . The support on these boards is wonderful. Thanks:ghug3
I'm reading lots on here but wondered if anyone had tried hypnotherapy to help with their addictions?
I'm going to get myself to AA later today but I really do struggle with it.
Any advice would be gratefully received.x

I know of two people who stopped smoking with hypnotherapy and they both said it was amazing. I don't think it would work for me, I like to read and get inspired. I agree with the other poster that success depends on the desire to quit. If you truly want it you will get it. Good luck xx

I tried hypnotherapy for smoking once. I didn't work, but that could in part be because I didn't address the drinking, and once drinking.....
I don't suppose it could hurt to try it. It did me no harm. I'd suggest using all your other resources, SR, AA. Hit it with everything you've got!!

I have never tried hypnotherapy, but I know when I wanted to get sober and didn't know what to do, I was pretty willing to try anything that might work!!
Good luck, let us know if you try it!!
