Paws

I got back from group a while. Our topic today was post acute withdrawal syndrome, PAWS. Those who have been in recovery longer probably know about this, but for those of us who are new, it's well worth a google. It passes but is a stumbling block at first.

Have a great day, all!

PAWS is the bane of my life for the last two months... it's always the answer to most of my problems. :(

On the other hand, knowing something about it does make the whole sobriety ride a little less scary.

I will certainly look it up. Any help right now is more than welcome. Thanks.

I was a mess the first few weeks. Gradually all my strange feelings disappeared. I had everything from hallucinations (in the very beginning) to chills & creepy-crawly legs & heart palpitations. I'm glad you brought this up! I didn't know about it until I came here and someone educated me.
