Fitness thread closed before reaching limit...?
I was told (after I inquired what had happened) that the fitness thread was closed because it was approaching 500 (it was at 472), and the part 2 continuation thread was moved to a lesser used forum, and that this is all standard procedure.
My thoughts are that if the thread limit is 500, why stop it at 472?
And why relegate the part 2 continuation thread to a lesser used forum?
And why not provide some advanced notification?
And why not provide some reason for closing the thread abruptly?
I love you all, best wishes toward each and everyone’s recovery!

Tommy,
As I explained to you already, the thread was closed as it approached 500, as are ALL threads on SR due our website capacity. Clearly we cannot stand here and observe and wait until exactly 500 is reached. In fact, I am heading off to work in a few moments, because, Yes, I have a day job. So, it's normal to close a thread as it approaches 500 or just after it passes 500. We certainly cannot be precise with the 500 mark.
All continuation threads are in the Daily Support forum.
If you read through any of the long threads, you will see there is no 'explaination'. I merely write 'lContinue" and give the link, or "the last part" and give the link.
