I made it on a Friday night. Woke up feeling great. No need for eyedrops to stop the burning bloodshot eyes. No painkillers for the headache. No running to the bathroom. No throwing up when brushing my teeth (TMI I'm sorry). I had to write all those things down to remind me how good it is to be sober. SR really helped me to get through it. I kept reading the messages over and over again. If booze didn't get me fired - being on the internet all day long might. I hope all of you that struggled last night made it too. Bless you all.
I have got a busy day ahead. Not just two hours until the bottle called. "I will not drink today."
