Unhappy need your prayers

I feel like my whole life is falling apart in front of my eyes. I'm doing the best I can but it seems like the only good things in my life are my dogs and my sobriety... but it seems like "doing the next right thing" isn't enough. I feel like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day: doing the same things over and over, like a nightmare I can't wake up from.

I am praying for peace of mind and direction, since I feel so lost and afraid.

thank you

Least:

I, for one, will be thinking about you and praying for you, and I'm sure many others here will be as well.

If you need to vent, we're here...

Please be well.

Sending out prayers for you least.

Sometimes I feel like the best thing I can do is to cease fighting everything and everyone. Then, instead of things falling apart, they fall right into place.

I'm sry your feeling like that least.
Be grateful you have your dogs and sobriety. Curl up with your pups and just look in their eyes. I use to do that with my dog. The unconditional love and loyalty is found there. It always made me feel better.
Love the doggies. And let it take that negative stuff away for awhile.

Least, Having dogs and your sobriety as the two good things in your life is a lot better than only having the dogs. It sounds like you're having a really hard time right now, so be assured that you're in my prayers. Life can really turn crappy on us sometimes, and that's one of the main reasons we drank. Now that we have a little sobriety behind us, we see that life still sucks but now we're forced to face it without the bottle. And that my dear friend, is tough.

I hope you pull through this. I know you have some serious issues with depression, and that makes your task all the harder. On good days life is hard enough, on bad days it sucks big time. I suggest you see your doctor and explain the situation with your depression and the medicine's ineffectiveness. It shouldn't be too hard to get something else; just remember it takes around 3 weeks for this type of stuff to kick in. And be thankful for the dogs....

Least, I can sooo identify with how you are feeling. Prayers sent! I know it gets better too... just wish it could happen sooner for all of us who suffer like this.

Prayers your way, and lots of hugs . you are not alone...try not looking so far ahead, concentrate on the moment at hand. Pretty soon, you will have sailed into smoother waters, baby steps...

What would we ever do without our beloved pets? Sometimes when I'm at my lowest I just snuggle with my kitties and I always feel better. I'm so happy that you have your dogs and their unconditional love for you. Just look into their eyes and feel that love, let yourself soak it in.

Things will get better. Just be present with them for today, tomorrow will take care of itself. You are in my prayers. :praying

You may not realize, but sobriety is the greatest thing. I have just joined this site, and I am hoping that I too will be able to post here in the future, saying that I am FREE of any type of alcohol.

And no matter how bad things get, our pets can be the greatest comfort. I do not have dogs, but I have a cat, and she doesn't care what I do, she still loves me .

Please hang in there. this seems like such a neat group of people. I think we can both get help here.

Hi Least, I am sorry you are still feeling so down, I can empathise totally. Maybe it is something to do with alcoholism or maybe it is more a case of clinical depression. I worry that it has gone on so long, I always advise you to talk to your Doctor and am doing it again.
