Sorry I have been Away......
Hi everyone--I see alot of new faces here.
I thought I would pop in with something that I hope helps someone.
I am going on 10 months sober and I love it--Its really great and I think I am fully recovered( I like to think so it helps)
My boss is the biggest ******* on the planet earth and he said something that really helped me out and made me stronger today. Thanks ********! LMAO.
Everyone I work with knows I quit drinking( I am a chef for a living) My work is very stressful I would say.
I was talking to ******* about me not drinking(I learned that people who drink all the time dont want to hear about you quitting the bottle) and something at work went wrong--something stupid but he likes to make a big deal out of everything(Cause he is an *******)--He told me"Now you know why I drink, If I didnt I would kill someone. So its drink or go to Jail."
I just agreed with the *****. If he only knew how stupid he sounded saying that.
I am in the same boat as him if not in rougher waters--But I dont drink anymore.
I now believe( I do not want to offend anyone please know this) Drinking is an excuse for the weak minded. He is weak(and an *******) You know what--I used drinking for an excuse when I was mad or things were not good in the past--I was Weak minded--Guess what--I am not weak anymore.
In the last 10 months many things bad happend and I dealt with it--I didnt get weak and grab a bottle to make it go away or to believe it will make it better--NO--cause I am not weak--ask your self if you are weak--or are you strong--do you want to be weak, or do you want to be strong?
I hope this helps someone -- Everyone take care--I will pop in to see some replies but I will most like be away enjoying life sober.
Please remember I didnt want to offend anyone--I popped in cause I want to be a posative influence to someone and help others. I do know what it is like.
