Hey i'm new
Hey,
I'm a 14 year old girl from Australia and my mums an alcoholic, she just relapsed again for about the 10000000000th time. She got out of rehab about a week or two ago. I am really over it and no longer want to live with her, i know she's not a bad person but alcohol plays a huge part in her life . I don't get along with my father to say the least so now i think i will just have to learn to live with the disease. She started drinking about 2 years ago when my older brother left to go live with our Dad.
She went from being there for my 2 younger sisters and I all the time. To being a mess and practically leaving me to look after them and when she was at her worsed, her aswell.

Just know that her disease has absolutely nothing to do with you. You didn't cause it, can't control it, can't cure it--her alcoholism. Glad you are here. Also, have you ever attended Alateen meetings---I know a few people who attended those meetings as children and it seemed to help them. They had either one or both parents who were alcoholic. Keep posting--you are not alone.
Welcome to SR!
I can understand why you're sick of dealing with the alcoholism. It's a lot to deal with, especially with no support. I hope you check out the other forum Least pointed out...lots of other friends/family members there; and Angelina also brought up a good idea with Alateen. It would help a lot if you had some other kids around that were going through the same thing, who know what you're going through.
I'm glad you found us, though, and you are not alone!
Hugs and prayers!
