I graduated IOP!!!!!

Well, the most intensive part anyway. Now it is six months of aftercare group meetings, but the hard part is over. On the last day of group I was crying, I hadn't realized how emotional it would be to leave those people I spent months sharing with.

Sobriety has brought me many great things in a small amount of time.

Thank you all for being my friends and always being there for me. Thank you also to all those who keep this site going.

p.s. IOP = intensive outpatient program

Remember how much you dreaded it? Now it's over, and it sounds like it was a good thing after all. I usually clam up when I need to share, and don't end up getting anything out of the programs meant to help us. I am happy for you!

Way to go Adore. I am finishing my 22 week IOP next week. I'm a little nervous but ready to start the rest of my life without a Head full of Chemicals.
