Hello Christine and welcome.
I can really relate to your post, as I too was in a nasty car accident. I wasn't so lucky as you though, and there was a fatality. I also have driving issues (and severe panic attacks), although they were much worse for the first 4 months or so after the accident. They are slowly getting better as time goes on.

I have also been drinking for a long time, and most of my life was a binge drinker like you are (except that I have always experienced blackouts). I am sorry to say that I 'graduated' from binge drinking 2-4 times a week to drinking daily...

You are in the right place. Loads of support and very good advice.
