Yesterday
 

Hi All,

Had the worst day off all 34 days sober yesterday, went to soccer tried to play but just felt like i had no energy, showed in the way i played. Got home and felt like **** (been like it for 33 days so nothing new) managed to eat dinner and have some ice cream, however this anxiety, twitching, pins and needles and pulse in head, just sort of got to me and i thought stuff it i am having a drink, my partner stopped me after about 2 hours of me saying i give in i am drinking, to keep the peace i gave up and said NO, went to doctors again this morning told him again all my fears, worries symptoms and you guessed Withdrawal Symptoms and gave me some thing for the anxiaty and said can they can last much longer and come back in 2 weeks.

Hang in there. It does take time, there is no magic wand that can magically heal our bodies from the carnage that alcohol causes. You are doing a smart thing by seeking medical advise. I'm pulling for you. IT DOES GET BETTER.

I'm glad you talked to your dr and hopefully, you're feeling better today.
