Anybody watch " The Street " on BBC 1 tonight ?

I'd recommend folks catch it on the BBCIplayer for those of you that can get it.

It was about an alcoholic bloke tonight and the realism of it was scary to watch.

I found it a wee bit unsettling to watch, particularly the hiding vodka in coke bottles , I found myself thinking, god that was so like me.

I could so easy still be like that as well, worth remembering sometimes.

hi fizzy, i watched the street tonight and i too found it both realistic and harrowing to watch, it was a powerful hard hitting program and showed how alcoholism destroys lives. i am so pleased to be out of that horrid self destruction that i was in whilst drinking , it has been six and a half months sober for me, and watching programs like that make me SO grateful for my sobriety, life is 100 times better today.
