dog lovers ... thought you dog lovers would like to know im now doing interviews for head of sercurity at my house... we miss jake and loved him dearly and to be honest he will never be replaced. this little guy has applied for the job.....what do you think? the wife is smitten......and he is the mirror image of baby jake. i know jake would approve.......this little guy has got alot to live up to. but i cant help but think he is just right for the job. he doesnt have a name yet and cant leave mum either so we a have a couple of weeks to decide......... http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/331/puppie004.jpg |

Me too, I got all teary. No other dog will ever be quite like Jake. You'll love the new little guy just as much, but in a slightly different way - he'll have his own specialness. I just don't see how you could top that adorable, precious angel in the picture. Look no further. When could you bring him home? |
awwww, I think Jake would agree that this little guy would be just perfect as the new head of security. Actually, when I looked at your post..it looks as if Jake is in your avatar, overlooking the pup and I truly believe that's the way it will be. MY opinion is Jake is your canine angel. Jake will never be replaced. Our hearts just expand to take in to accept another furbaby. He's adorable and I think the decision is already made. When does he get to come home? Hugs and prayers! I agree, plus you have 3 others, Baby Girl is crying trying to get at him and my other two girls are licking my arm trying to get closer to the screen and all my Edward said was AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW..................Good Luck Truck! The lil dude has my vote as well! Good for you! our furbabies leave such big holes in our hearts when they leave us and I think they send us one of their kind to fill at least part of that hole. |

He is very very cute!! Is he per chance a Rhodesian Ridgeback? Looks like he could be, lol If not ridgeback poddibly boxer in him? Hope you are planning to leave him with his litter mates until 8 weeks so he learns some socialization skills from mom and his siblings. I don't think Jake will mind. Jake will 'oversee' everything. I am happy for you, but do not envy you with a new puppy, they are a lot of work for at least a year. Been there, done that, too many times, lol Congrats on the new addition coming into your home. He is adorable, when I found my new kitten [he was a stray] I had a dream about my old cat who had died. It was like she was giving her blessing. I believe Jake will be so happy you have a new dog to take care of you just they way he did. Much love to you and your new furbaby, Faerie x |

yes this little guy is a Rhodesian ridgeback... he is 4 weeks old and will be with mum till 8 weeks or more. i have been around ridgebacks since i was a kid and i adore them...they are super intelligent......and need loads of excercise. ridgebacks love to run.....for miles and jake would run beside my mountain bike... when jake was young my daughter taught him to pull her along on her skateboard....man i miss that dog. ridgeback puppies are tough going.....they need lots of training and are stubborn as hell....... like most puppies it not good to over excercise them before there bones develop properly....... im glad you like him.....ill post other pics in a few months. ideas for a name would help...................shaun. |
