Still sober

Hey ya'll,
It's been a good day today, don't even wanna talk about yesterday but I stayed strong and resisted temptation.
It seems like I haven't drank for a month but it's only been 7 days.
Still doin' a meeting/day in fact I'm picking up an AA member tomorrow morn at 5:40am. He and I are to prep the meeting, make coffee, etc. since the norms will be away.
Ya'll be good, stay clean and sober and may God continue to bless us all.

That is great on making it a week! Even better on staying strong while having a difficult day yesterday. You seem to be commited to AA and I'm glad it is helping you! It is nice I'm sure to meet people you can relate to.

Keep up the hard work!

Good job Alan, and a service position already!!!! That is awesome, you will be the person many a newcomer will meet for thier first AA meeting.

I loved making coffee, it was a ggod way of getting to meet other newcomers and to spend some extra time talking with the occasinal old timer who shows up early.

I have to assume you have a sponsor all ready since you have a service position so soon, ask him what happens to someone who complains about the coffee at a meeting? LOL

You know that first month was a bear..... it last thirty days and a thousand nights, but it can be done.
