60 days.

60 days. Learning to deal with life on life's terms. Learning to stay out of tomorrow and yesterday and in today. Learning to get out of my own way and listen to what God wants for me. Learning that step's 3, 7, 10 and 11 are indispensable in daily living. Learning what i want is very dangerous, and what i need will always be taken care of if i have faith. Learning i need to slow down. Learning i need help and it's ok. Learning step 4 isn't so scary. Learning i'm not alone, but when i am it's a bad place to be. Learning the 1st three words on page 112 of the big book are an absolute. :praying

Tim congrats on the 60 days and it sure sounds like you are working a good program as well, just keep learning, I have heard the old timers say that when they start to think they know it all and have nothing more to learn is when they are walking on thin ice.

That is fantastic!! 60 days is a great accomplishment. If you do not mind me asking questions (I'm gonna' anyway), How do you feel physically? Are things coming around for you? I only ask because I am 18 days in and the cravings still get wild.

Well, i'm one of those who had a very intense spiritual experience the day i hit my bottom. I have lost the desire to drink or use. I have no physical ailments due to my using/drinking. I do have a huge living problem which is what i'm working on. I still have days where my thinking and mental condition is foggy. I lean on God ALOT! You can read more on what happened to me here if you want. http://www.soberrecovery.com/forums/...inda-long.html
