Sick and tired
Hello fellow members.
My name is Alan and I'm an alcoholic!
Diabetic for 34 years as well.
I'm at the botton of my barrel and as I look up, it looks like a tunnel and I can see light there. Problem is I think it's either a muzzle flash or a train.
Day 2 for me and I'm definitely squeelin' from the feelin' right now.
Thanks 4 havin' me.

Hi Alan, being sober really is so much better than life as a drunk. It takes a little effort during the early days but then it just becomes part of you. The rewards of the sober life never stop coming.

So you detox from drinking beer as well?
I guess alcohol is alcohol.
I'm feeling better tonite as my witching hours have passed.
Doesn't help that it's a weekend either, but I've made it through a Friday night and a Saturday night. Woo Hooo.
Thank you, I don't want to feel anything to do with alcohol again.
One strange thing I've noticed today is that I'm walking straighter than I'm used to.
