I've found Hiding for a little while, alone with my thoughts, to be very helpful but as Dee said not for to long. We do, do things differently now. Something that helped me when my mountain came toppling down was going against my solid laid in concrete nature. I confided in someone else a perfect stranger and new found friend. I found a new direction and I'm still against all odds Sober. Every thing else in life is just icing on the cake.
