...sober! I was at a beautiful mountain resort in a great suite with wet bar and managed to attend an evening outdoors blues and booze concert. Loved the music and avoided the booze. My mind kept whispering, one cold brew won't hurt, my experience told me otherwise. The temptation without the fall felt very liberating. Rather than feel I was missing out on something I felt I was gaining more freedom from my addiction. Very liberating. It was an addiction educator's conference and got some great info on the latest in the nuerobiology of addiction but that pailed next to my experience of being sober. Good to be home and still adding time, ODAAT.

Boy can I relate! My job keeps me traveling all over the USA and I used to start my drinking at the airport bar. Now I try to hit an AA meeting at every town I go to.
